All the data obtained while doing your experiments are stored in this directory, such as the pictures of the samples, the results of the XAFS measurements, and the diffraction images collected.
The default Working Directory is /gpfs/data/(UserID), as indicated in the UGUI.
Click the [Select] button on the right side of the >Working Directory< status bar.
At this stage, DO NOT fast-click the [Select] button several times as it will cause the ugui to be locked!
Create new directory (If you need to create new directory.)
Click the [Create New Directory] button.
Type the full path of the directory name in the field.
It is possible to create several hierarchies at one time without limitation.
e.g.： /gpfs/data/(yourID)/(yymmdd_Beamline)/(your sample)
Click the [OK] button.
The new directory is then created and added to the tree.
- The choice of directory (You can choose it by the two following methods.)
Select the directory directly from the directory tree of the file manager.
Type the full path of the directory in the field labeled "Select Directory", and then click the [Go] button.
- Confirmation of the directory name
Check that the directory path displayed in the "Select Directory" is right.
Click the [OK] button of the file manager to finish creating the directory.
The sub-directories are created automatically under the directory the user created.
Similarly, the file name for the diffraction images, the results of MCA/XAFS experiments, etc. are saved with established prefixes.
All the default names are determined by the file name manager, that you can eventually edit.
Please note that, although all the files will be saved in the Working directory, >Sub-directories< will not be created if the columns of each sub-directory are let blank.
- If necessary then, click the [Special] - [Files/directories name] button from the menu bar.
This sub-directory is used for the captured sample photos.
This sub-directory is used for the results of XAFS measurements.
This sub-directory is used for storing the diffraction images recorded as Snapshots.
This sub-directory is used for storing the diffraction images recorded during data collection.
This sub-directory is used for storing the diffraction images recorded during MAD or SAD experiments.
In this case, each wavelength has an independent sub-directory.
